Jim’s Background:
1991-2000 General Systems Company as a management consultant. Created and developed Management Processes for Citigroup at three businesses - both foreign and domestic - that provided aggregate returns from expense savings and revenue growth in excess of half a billion dollars over five years. Reconstructed Union Pacific Railroad’s Management System in the wake of the merger difficulties with Southern Pacific and helped return the railroad to growth and profitability.
1979-1991 General Electric Company in Marketing, R&D, Operations and Quality. Achieved GE’s first industry quality awards from both GM and Ford (Q1). Created product development system for new products. Secured over $50mm in new business from IBM. Speaker at numerous regional and national conferences on Quality; keynote speaker to the Society of Vacuum Coaters National Convention. Four patents and three publications.
